Before becoming the CEO of Sunshine Minting, Tom Power's journey was anything but conventional. With over 30 years in the precious metals industry, he began his career at Johnson Matthey Ltd. in Canada, holding key management positions in both Operations and Sales. In 1997, he emigrated from Canada to the United States to join Sunshine Minting, Inc. as a senior manager. By 2007, after a decade of growth, he acquired 100% ownership of the company and assumed the role of President and CEO. Under his leadership, Sunshine Minting expanded from a small regional supplier with 30 employees to a multinational corporation with over 300 employees and operations in the U.S. and China .
Now, as he approaches the twilight of his career, Tom is focused on mentoring the next generation of leaders within his company, ensuring a legacy of strong leadership and innovation.
